This public workshop hosted by the City of Los Angeles and SDSN TReNDS will include discussions on the data challenges facing Los Angeles and how the City measures the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), poverty, and homelessness.

Participants will learn how the City is localizing the SDGs via two session topics:

  • Transparency in Government: A dashboard of SDG indicators for cities

  • Leaving No One Behind: Improving indicators with local data

Speakers include:

  • Jeanne Holm, TReNDS member and Deputy Chief Information Officer and Senior Technology Advisor to the Mayor of Los Angeles

  • Erin Bromaghim, Director of Olympic and Paralympic Development and Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Fellow on the SDGs, Mayor’s Office of International Affairs

  • Nina Hachigian, Deputy Mayor for International Affairs, City of Los Angeles
